[Tips for Appearance Score:] Always wear a bow for tryouts. Try to stay within school colors OR a white bow is usually OK. Try to pay attention to what the cheerleaders have worn during the season and try to do the same because that's what the coach likes and wants.

Why do this? It's one of those added touches that will make it or break it as far as appearance score. This will really make you look the part of cheerleader, and if you don't wear one, you will definitely get deducted points.

Next Tip: Take off all of your jewelry.
