" Competition Routine Tip 22:
How to hide your weakness: Stunting
"

Cheerwiz.com

Here are a couple of ways to hide your team's weakness of stunting in your routine:

1.) Minimal stunting - If you are not a good stunting team, then avoid stunting as much as possible. Maybe do 1 stunt sequence and give it all that your team has.

2.) Brace it - (Especially for COED) Having a spotter on the stunt as an extra brace will insure that a difficult stunt hits in the routine.

3.) New and creative - Try something NEW. It may be easy, but the crowd will love it, and the judges will be interested and should score higher.

4.) Add transition - Transition up or out of it to make an easy stunt more interesting.

5.) Nice dismount - Add a half twist cradle, full, or double full cradle. Any of these can add to the difficulty of your stunt, yet still make the stunt consistent.
