" Competition Routine Tip 9:
Smooth Transitioning
"

Cheerwiz.com

Now after placing your cheerleading skills, it is time to plan transitioning from one team skill to the next. Transitioning from one skill to the next can be done 1 of 2 ways. The first is walking and the second is using transitions stunts/skills.

Half of the time, the team will just move to their next spot. Just make sure each member only moves short distances to get there. This will save time, energy, and will look better.

The next way is using transitions. Transitions are good to use between 2 different pyramids OR stunts, BUT you could still use them between any other cheerleading skill if you are creative. Try different things that are NEW and look visually impressive. This will make the transitioning smooth and will score your team higher points in competition.

Next Tip: No Big Breaks
