"Pee Wee help: Make practice 1.) Start with stretching - make it quick, easy, and fun. Play some music and have them stretch to the beat. You can even create a song and incorporate the stretching with it. 2.) Jumps - Have them circle up and do them on your count. 3.) Game time; Stunts - Have them pair up . Show them 4 easy stunts they can do safely without hurting the other. Play music and have them walk around the room (In a circle OR randomly). Then stop the music and call out one of the stunts. You can eliminate the last team OR just keep them going. 4.) Motions - play "simon says" with motions 5.) Sidelines, cheer, dance - Add only a couple easy motions, not too much. 6.) Tumbling - place them in a line and have them do forward rolls, backbends, and cartwells (if they can) right in front of you. 7.) Game time again!!! - Pair off onto 2 teams. Have 2 cheerleader cutouts for each team (made out of pieces of paper - the body, the arms, the legs, the head,etc.). Now shout out a stunt OR motion and have each team place the cheerleader in that motion. 8.) Have them stunt on you (have everyone fly) - Line them up in a line. You (as coach) get down in a lunge position. Have them step up and lock, then step down. Give everyone a chance to be a flier. Work the basics and make sure they step up on you and lock their leg. Once everyone gets this, then have them pull a lib, then walk down.
