"Top 10 easy points missed at Tryouts! "

There are so many points that cheerleaders miss at tryouts because they are over looked OR just not known. In many tryouts there are only a few points that separate many, yet many of these points are over looked and under appreciated. Here is a list of the top 10 missed tryout points:

1.) Hit it- Just make sure your hit your stunts, and land your tumbling solid.

2.) Fundamentals- If you are doing a heel stretch then grab your foot, if you are doing an arabesque then lift your leg parrallel, etc.

3.) Spirit Score - Just spiriting onto the floor and smiling can take your score from near perfect to perfect

4.) Voice- Be heard over the rest and you can bump your 9 out of 10 to a perfect 10.

5.) Energy- Add more energy into your cheer, dance, and even your stunts.

6.) Apearance- Wear school colors and watch your posture at all times for a better appearance score.

7.) Toes pointed- For jumps, baskets, stunts, and cradles.

8.) Bad motions- Easy points to get by just practicing them in the mirror.

9.) Missed motions (cheer/sideline)- Just take the time to practice them and don't blow them off.

10.) Attempt some type of tumbling
- Just attempt something. Either a cartwheel, forward roll, or add a splits to it for 1 or more points.
