When catching a flier always remember to "Catch high and absorb with your legs!"

Why does this mean? This means that when a base catches a flier, he/she needs to reach up, meet the flier as high as you can, resist her as she falls, bring her into you, and absorb the catch with your legs as you cradle the flier into you. This will insure that you have a soft cradle (well as long as the flier catches herself!)
