"Step up Extensions"

Another way you can get up to an Elevator Extension is to step it up.

How to Step it up? Start in an Elevator. Have the flier lift up her left foot (or right), and the left base will extend and support that leg up. When ready the flier will step up to her left foot and the right base will extend the flier's right foot.

Why do this? It's can be easier if you have a weak base and it's different. I would not suggest this as the norm when trying to go to extension, but it's fun for New bases and can help them with their stregnth and technique.
