"What to do if you don't make the team!"

Thousands of girls each year don't make their cheerleading team. In most cases it was just a score OR 2 that made the difference. In other cases it was much more. So what to do from here?

If you really want to be a cheerleader then you can. First take the experience you had from tryouts and use this to your advantage. You saw the tryouts, and you saw who made the team. Use this information to see what you have and don't have. If you have any other questions then ask the coach where you went wrong.

Now that you have your information, it's time to use it! In most cases the cheerleader has weak tumbling. You can easily take tumbling classes in your area, but it' all up to you how well you do in them.

The main thing now is to take this year to work all of your skills. Work your flexibilty ever other day, practice your motions in the mirror, watch your facials, improve your confidence, take camps to improve your stunting, watch tapes of other teams and yourself to notice the differences, and take tumbling classes on top of all this. The main thing is to practice you skills for the next year, don't give up, and you can make the team if you really want it and are willing to work hard for it.
