"Best way to teach stunts"

Here in the progression on how to Teach stunts with best results:

1.) Visual - Have the pod/couple see what the stunt looks like by either having someone else do it, providing a video tape, and/or pictures.
2.) Explain the stunt - Explain in limited detail how the stunt works. Don't get into too much depth, because NOT much information will be retained.
3.) Try it - Have the pod/couple try it will spots on hand. This way they feel more comfortable and they will have that extra safety net just in case something goes wrong.
4.) Hands on - Have you or the spotters use a hands on approach if they are having difficulty hitting the stunt. The hands on spotter can stabilize the stunt enough for the pod/couple to hit it. This will help them get the feel for stunt faster.
5.) Fix - Consistently fix technical issues with the stunters after and during each attempt. Just state what you see wrong and make sure you are NOT over analyzing the stunt. Over-analyzing will annoy the stunters and they will to get frustrated.
