"Scale Stretches"

Cheerwiz.com

Here are a couple of ways to stretch your scale:

1.) Stretch your back - In order to do a scale you need a flexible back. The best way to get started is to do bridges and back bends.

2.) Front Stretch - Also try a front stretch and lean back. This will stretch you back out and allow you to practice grabbing your leg.

3.) Hold on to someone - Now try holding onto someone and/or the wall to help you pull the scale. This will help you get your balance while you stretch.

4.) Get Help - If are having difficulties holding on to someone, try grabbing another person to help lift your leg so that you can get a good stretch.

5.) Try it on the ground - When you feel ready, try pulling the scale on the ground. Try to perfect the technique of it before you go up in the air.
