"What is a flyover?!?"

A flyover is a Bird basket that is thrown from 1 set of bases to another completely different set of bases. Though illegal in High school and some college teams, a flyover is a beautiful sight to see. You can toss fliers across the mat OR over pyramids. You can hide it behind a pyramid for an element of suprise OR toss the flier towards the crowd to get a reaction.

When beginning to learn/teach flyovers. Make sure you start small. Have the flier work on her bird basket, then work on incorporating the 2nd set of bases. Again start small by having them close together, then spread out to your desired distance. Always remember to have proper safety personel on hand, and practice safe.
