"Stick your Backtuck"

Cheerwiz.com

Sometimes landing your backtuck is the most difficult part of doing it. Here are 3 things to remember: Height, tuck, and squeeze.

First thing to work on is your height. Make sure you are riding your tuck up and NOT back. You may also want to work on Pylometrics if you want a higher jump to help you out.

The next thing you need to do is hold you tuck tighter and longer. Many people open up to early and stop their rotation, but if they would have held it just a split second longer they would have hit it.

The final thing to remember is to squeeze the landing. When landing on the ground absorb the land with your legs and squeeze your feet upon landing. Don't give in to making a step unless it is necessary.
