"How to have fun working

 on your sidelines"

Cheerwiz.com

Working on your sidelines and cheers during practice can seem really boring.  Here are a couple of ways to spice it up.

1.) Play "Simon Says" -  To get their motions warmed up, play "Simon says" and make them do motions. It's a fun game and makes motions enjoyable.

2.) Place motions to 8 counts - Put a motion for each number up to eight.  Now count to eight and make them do the motions.  Speed it up to see if they can stay up with you. NOTE make sure the motions correlate with the cheer/sideline.

3.) Ad a unique move - Add something fun and unique, so it's NOT the same old motions over and over again.

4) Have the team make it up -  If the team has their own input the will care about the cheer/sideline even more. They will also see how hard it is to come up with a cheer/sideline.

5.) Battle it out - Split the team into 2-4 teams and have them do the cheer/sideline in front of someone to judge.  Have the winners leave practice early and have the others stay and clean up.
