Start with an
Elevator
Flier-Start
by facing the back spot, take a step forward with your right foot and
go into a handstand position. Give some momentum to it as though
you were doing a walkover, this will help with the rotation. Stay
as tight as possible (squeeze your abs, squeeze you back-side, and
hollow your body), as the backspot lifts you up over his head,
and give a push off of the ground as he picks you up. Now that
you arms are above your head wrap your arms to your right side of your
body and tuck your chin to your shoulder as if you were doing a
fulldown. Continue to look to the front (do not give up or stop
your rotation), and try stopping yourself 45° before you hit the
front. Your momentum will carry you to the front. Squeeze
all that you possible can and hit a Hi-V for the finish.
TIP:
All-girl - use an extra girl or 2 to get the flier around (if needed).
Back spot-
Start by facing the flier in a crouched down position and place you
hands in front of you. As the flier does her handstand, place
your hand on the mid-section of her back with you fingers facing out.
Push straight up and through the flier making sure that your right
hand give more for the rotation and both give enough to bring the
flier's feet over her head. Follow the flier up and grab her ankles
and squeeze for the finish.
Right Base
- As the flier comes around grab her left foot with your left hand
underneath and you right hand to support the left thigh. Do not
stop the flier's momentum as she comes around. Bring her foot to
shoulder level and push up on the flier's left thigh to get her head
over her feet. As she begins to twist to the right, assist with
the pop up, let go of the foot, and follow it around. When the
left foot is again in site grab with your right hand under the heal
and your left hand on the ball of the foot for the finish (when you
catch the foot make sure you squeeze and push up to an extension).
Right Base
- As the flier comes around grab underneath the fliers right foot with
your right hand (make sure your hand in turned in as though you
are cradling a baby) and support the flier's right thigh with your
left hand. Do not stop the flier's momentum as she comes around.
Bring her foot to shoulder level and push up on the flier's right
thigh to get her head over her feet. As she begins to twist to the
right, assist with the pop up by guiding her right thigh, and getting
underneath the flier to push her up to extension (do not let go of the
right foot at anytime). When the flier twists to the front grab
the right heel of the flier with your left hand to stabilize and
finish.
