Start with 4 blades to the helicopter all facing inward making an "X" (make sure they are close). Each blade will consist of 4 bases and a flier. To get each flier up,.. have them face a base and grab their base's shoulders. Have 2 bases on the sides of the flier and have them grab the flier's lower thigh with 1 hand and the flier's upper hip with the other hand. Now have the flier dip and jump, push straight down through the bases's shoulders and remain tight. The 3 base will lift the flier straight up over their heads, and the remaining base will grab the fliers ankles.
For the toss the fliers should connect arms with the other fliers next them. Make sure you predetermine which flier(s) will have their arms on top before you get them up. The front base should remain under the flier's armpits, and all 4 bases need to dip with their legs and toss the flier over to the next set of bases. This is done by the flier staying tight, the back base tossing the flier's ankles, the right base tossing the flier over his/her head, the left base throwing over the right base's head, and the front base guiding the flier towards the next set of bases.
For the catch the bases need to immediately reach the opposite way for the next flier. The flier needs to remain tight and connected to the other fliers the entire time she is being thrown. The front base should reach for the flier' shoulder and/or armpits, the back base should grab for the flier's ankles, the right base should reach forword for the flier's hip and thigh, and the left base should turn over his/her shoulder and reach for the flier and she comes over their head. All bases need to absorb the catch by reach high and absorbing the flier into them for the finish.
