Start with an
Elevator
Flier-As
the bases extend, begin to shift your weight and right foot to the
center of the stunt. Make sure you are hollowing out your body,
squeezing your abs, keeping your legs together, and keeping your head
up. Make sure that you keep your legs locked at all times. They
should never bend. When stable pull your left leg straight up and
grab it with your right hand. Then bring your left arm in front and
make a half of a T for the arrow look of the bow. Squeeze your leg
straight up in the air and smile for the finish.
NOTE:
To make it easier, pull a stretch and work your way to the bow n arrow
position.
Back spot-Start
with the flier’s ankles with your corresponding hands. As the flier
goes up. Work your left hand to assist with the flier’s right ankle
(so you have 2 hands on her ankle). Then Squeeze up for the finish.
Right base-
Start with your elevator grip. On count extend the flier up and
slightly to the center. Make sure the entire time that you are
squeezing her foot for support.
NOTE: make sure
the flier is slightly on the ball of her foot. You do not want her on
her heel OR all the way on her toes.
Left base-
Start with your elevator grip. On count guide the flier up and
slightly toward the center. Before you hit the top of the stunt,
quickly place your right hand under the flier’s foot and your left
hand on top of your flier’s foot. Squeeze for support to finish. |
