Flier-Place
your right foot in the pocket of the right base in front of you.
Leave your left foot on the ground and place your hands on the
corresponding shoulders of the bases that are in front of you. On
count step off of the ground with your left foot, push off of the
bases shoulders, lock your legs, ride your hips up, then place
your left foot in the pocket of the left base in front of you.
Remember to use the step and lock technique. Once both feet are
secure, then lift your chest up and finish with a Hi-V.
Back spot-(Hands
on spotting at all times). Start behind the flier and grab her
waist with your corresponding hands. Follow her up and down the
stunt, while never letting go.
Right base-–
Start in a lunge position with your left leg bent and left foot
facing perpendicular to the crowd your are facing. Your right leg
should be straight and your right foot will face towards the
crowd. Keep your upper body facing the crowd at all times. Over
lap your knees with the other base (you will go behind). When the
flier places her foot, take your right arm around the back of the
flier’s left leg and brace above her knee. Your right hand needs
to brace under the flier’s left foot. Before she steps up, make
sure you are bracing her to your body. On count as the flier
steps, make sure you have her braced to your body. For the
dismount grab a thumb-to-thumb grip with your right hand and
assist the flier’s waist with your left hand on the way down.
Left base-
Start in a lunge position with your right leg bent and right foot
facing perpendicular to the crowd your are facing. Your left leg
should be straight and your left foot will face towards the
crowd. Keep your upper body facing the crowd at all times. Over
lap your knees with the other base (you will go in front). Start
with you left had on your thigh and your right arm slightly behind
you. As the flier jumps on your right thigh/left hand, wrap your
right arm above the flier’s knee and brace. For the dismount grab
a thumb to thumb grip with your right hand and assist the flier’s
waist with your left hand on the way down |
