Flier
– start on your toes and lean slightly back into the guy. On his
count dip and jump (stay on your toes and do not go flat footed).
Keep a firm hold of the base’s wrists and slightly split your legs for
the base’s head to come underneath. As you land, wrap your legs to
the mid-section of the bases’ back. For a REAR dismount: grab a thumb
to thumb grip with the base on the inside of your thighs. On count
wait for the dip and push straight down through your bases shoulders
and absorb the landing for the finish. For a FRONT dismount: grab a
thumb to thumb grip with the base on the outside of your thighs.
Begin to pike your legs. On count wait for the dip and push straight
down through your bases shoulders. Then absorb the landing and finish.
Base -
stand behind the flier with feet just slightly beyond shoulder width
apart. On count follow the flier while she jumps (this way you both
have good timing). Right before the flier leaves the ground, base
grab a little firmer and lift flier gently to your shoulders (DO NOT
drop her on your shoulders – Be GENTLE!). As she lands you want to
let go of her waist and wrap your hands around her thighs. For a REAR
dismount: grab a thumb to thumb grip with the flier on the inside of
her thighs. ON count, dip and control flier behind you to the ground.
For a FRONT dismount: grab a thumb to thumb grip with the flier on
the outside of her thighs. ON count, dip and push through her arms.
Make sure you control her to the ground right in front of you and
finish (do not throw her out or will have NO control and she may get
hurt). |
