Flier
– Ride up with your arms straight up, your abs squeezed tight, and
your buttocks squeezed. Right before your hit the top of your ride is
when your want to pull your knees to your chest and wrap under your
knees with your arms. Do not throw your head back. Right when you hit
your tuck you want to snap open your X by pushing off of your legs,
spreading your legs to an X, hitting a Hi-V as you are upside down,
and lifting with your chest to continue your rotation. You are doing
this correctly if your legs are straight up and arms are down (to give
you an X effect). This needs to be quick. Keep pulling through your
rotation with your hips, lift your chest, bring your arms to your
side, and keep your chin tucked. As you meet with the bases’ hands,
pike and catch for the cradle.
