Pike Open









Flier – Ride up with your arms up and slightly in front, your abs squeezed tight, your buttocks squeezed. As you stand up out of the basket is when you want to hit a gradual pike. It should hit straight up where your toes are pointing to the sky.  Once you hit the pike, push off of your legs and lift up with your chest.  This needs to be quick. Right when you hit your pike, then you snap your chest right away for a quick OPEN effect of the basket.  Keep pulling through your rotation with your hips and keep your chin tucked.  As you meet with the bases’ hands, pike and catch for the cradle.
