Flyover

Start with a flier, 2 bases, a backspot, and 2 catchers. Place the flier, bases, and backspot in a basket, then have the 2 catchers placed in front of the basket.

ON count have the flier jump in, lean slightly forward, and ride the toss up with her hips and arms down.  Have her hit her bird strong with a "T" moment while still remembering to lift her feet up to the sky. This will help her flip around.

For the catch the flier needs to tuck her chin, then pike and catch the catchers for the cradle.

NOTE: When beginning to learn/teach flyovers. Make sure you start small. Have the flier work on her bird basket, then work on incorporating the 2nd set of bases. Again start small by having them close together, then spread out to your desired distance. Always remember to have proper safety personel on hand, and practice safe.
