Start with an Elevator

Flier- As the bases extend, begin to shift your weight and left foot to the center of the stunt. Make sure you are hollowing out your body, squeezing your abs, keeping your legs together, and keeping your head up. Right before the stunt is fully extended you want your right hand placed in front of your right leg and pull your leg straight up and to the side by rolling your hip. Immediately wrap your right hand/arm under your right thigh and your left arm behind your back and connect hands. Make sure your maintain your form at all times, keep your shoulders square to the front, and stay tight.

NOTE: This stunt requires much flexibility. Please stretch and practice on the ground before trying to attempt it in the air!

Back spot -Start with the flier’s ankles with your corresponding hands. As the flier goes up. Work your left hand to assist with the flier’s right ankle (so you have 2 hands on her ankle). Then Squeeze up for the finish.

Right base - Start with your elevator grip. On count extend the flier up and slightly to the center. Make sure the entire time that you are squeezing her foot for support.

NOTE: make sure the flier is slightly on the ball of her foot. You do not want her on her heel OR all the way on her toes.

Left base - Start with your elevator grip. On count guide the flier up and slightly toward the center. Before you hit the top of the stunt, quickly place your right hand under the flier’s foot and your left hand on top of your flier’s foot. Squeeze for support to finish.
